Jakub Jaszewski aims to create his own style in relief and digital printmaking by using fine detail, rich color and dream-like atmosphere. To him, art means forming other worlds which we can observe, so he finds inspiration in, and researches mythology, psychology, informatics, and a variety of literature.

His favourite technique is linocut he used in his artistic diploma series POST-APO (2012) awarded multiple times in Poland, or in RITES (2016) made during his PhD studies at Faculty of Fine Arts, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (Poland). He also makes digital prints such as [CYBER] series (2018) awarded with Nagy Pál Prize in The 5th Graphic Art Biennial of Szeklerland (Sfântu Gheorghe, Romania) or GRAND SILICA – a tribute to a Polish chemist – Jan Czochralski. In pursuit of top quality mediums and methods Jakub produces various small graphic forms series titled MINILAB and [MICRO-CYBER], among others. Of which the latter was recently awarded with Honorary Medal at The 17th International Triennial of Small Graphic Forms 2020 in Łódź, Poland.
